romney said he wanted to cut funding to pbs. that comment received a lot of criticism in the media. i actually thought it was weird, too, especially since romney has a history of supporting educational children's programs. in fact, he has his own show on pbs. let's take a look. ♪ [ applause ] [ "mr.rogers neighborhood" theme ] >> it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, isn't it? was just not up to the task. romney was able to talk about things like funding for pbs and never had explained his position supporting bankruptcy for the american auto industry. obama rescued the american auto industry, our largest industrial industry, it never came up. on the very heart of the romney economic plan, on the tax cut, why did he insist on the deductions? they're not details, the president called them. they're not loopholes, they're mortgag mortgages, charitable deductions, state and local. huge issues at the very heart of the romney economic plan. the 47%, he let romney come out there as a guy who cared about people and social security. he's on the record with his fundraisers where you pay $50,000 to hear what he really thinks as using your phrase. he said these people were all moochers and bums. on health care, four or five times he slipped away. romney in recent days has said if you have a health problem, you're poor and live in an apartment, as he put it, we won't let you die there, you're going to go to the emergency room. that is the romney economic health care pla

remember that gop candidate mitt romney made comments about pbs and big bird and they were the biggest quotes to come out of last week's debate. >> one day president obama has the lead, the next day mitt romney has the lead. so many polls show very different results. >> so we want to bring in our political analyst. larry, every day it's something different. how do you know who to rely on? >> much of the answer has to do with the way pollsters ask questions, for example. how is the president managing the economy? that's one way. that's different than, is the economy better or worse for you than a year ago. a second potential problem centers on the people polled, likely voters and then there are those who are voting occasionally. guess what? you'll get different results, depending whether they're regular or occasional voters. and there's the matter of polling methodology. some firms contact landlines only. but the better phones will call cell phone users also. that's important. why? because cell phone users not only make up 30% of the voting universe, but tend to be notably younger. you

romney -- >> i like pbs. i love big bird. i actually like you, too. >> all right. i'll make this point. stay away from the whole toy merchandise cohort. when he bad back to school numbers. no money to be made here whatsoever. finally, we got the toughest call of all, the health care gambit. a lot of mistaking people scooped up all of the drug and health maintenance stocks today because of romney's perceived victory and the concomitant belief that if obama care goes right out the window when day one of the new presidency, it's good for big pharma and for health maintenance organizations. to which i say sorry. that is very wrong. in truth, big pharma and the hmos have been gigantic winners off obamacare. they made their peace with it. they profited from it. some would say they co-opted it. that's why i warned on twitter not to get too caught up in the benefits of a possible obama care repeal. it may not be as bountiful as you wish them to be. you may have to sell the stocks that people bought today. obamacare is so fabulous for big pharma and health care. sorry. finally, i tweeted one la
